Electronic signature frameworks
Signet supports electronic signing workflows under the US ESIGN Act and UETA. Applicable requirements depend on the transaction, the parties' consent and any additional legal formalities.

Signet provides simple electronic signatures (SES). Advanced and qualified electronic signatures are not currently offered. Some documents require witnesses, special execution procedures or another signature level.
In the EU, eIDAS distinguishes simple, advanced and qualified signatures. Article 25 protects the recognition of electronic signatures as evidence; it does not remove document-specific legal requirements.

Customer document content is stored and processed in the UK or EU region selected for the organisation. Limited account, billing and delivery metadata may be processed by operational providers as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Data location and transfersOur signing engine runs on infrastructure operated for Signet, within the organisation's configured UK or EU environment. Our EU signing server is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We operate the document-signing service and control its deployment.
How signing data is processedOrganisation-scoped permissions, private storage, signed access links, audit records, multi-factor authentication for privileged administration, rate limiting and encrypted transport help protect the workflow.
